📌 Model: PCZ Heavy Hammer Crusher 2522
-
Maximum Feeding Size: 1000 mm
-
Discharge Size Range: 0–100 mm
-
Production Capacity: 800–1000 t/h
-
Motor Power: 355 × 2 kW
⚙️ Working Principle
Driven by the motor, the rotor disc with mounted hammers rotates at high speed. As the material enters the crushing chamber, it is hit by the rapidly rotating hammers, propelled toward the impact plate, and further fragmented by collisions and friction among particles. Qualified materials are discharged from the outlet, while oversized particles are returned for further crushing.
⭐ Key Features
-
Simple structure and stable operation
-
Large feed size and high crushing ratio; uniform finished particles
-
Capable of one-step final product formation; high crushing efficiency
-
Wear-resistant components and easy maintenance
-
High single-machine capacity (120–2000 t/h)
-
360° rotatable hammers inside the chamber minimize breakage risks
-
Achieves integrated crushing and shaping in a single process
🧱 Applicable Materials
Designed for medium-hard and brittle materials with compressive strength typically below 150–200 MPa.
✅ Primary Applicable Materials
-
Limestone – Usually <150 MPa; ideal for PCZ heavy hammer crushers
-
Bluestone – Medium hardness, ≤200 MPa; high efficiency
-
Coal Gangue – Highly brittle, low abrasiveness; excellent performance
-
River Pebbles / Cobbles – Suitable when compressive strength ≤200 MPa
⚠️ Conditionally Applicable Materials (strength must be verified)
-
Dolomite (≤200 MPa)
-
Sandstone (medium hardness)
-
Marble (≤200 MPa)
-
Low-abrasiveness basalt (must verify compressive strength)
❗ Key Limitations
-
Maximum Compressive Strength: ≤150–200 MPa (varies by model)
-
Material Characteristics: Only suitable for brittle, medium-hard, and low-abrasiveness materials
-
High-Hardness Materials (e.g., granite, iron ore): use with caution or consider cone crushers
-
Calcium Content: Some models require Ca ≥ 40%
💡 Equipment Advantages
The PCZ heavy hammer crusher is capable of one-step crushing and shaping, especially for projects with throughput under 600 t/h, eliminating the secondary crushing stage and reducing costs by up to 40%. It accepts large feed sizes (≤1200 mm), making it ideal for medium to large-scale crushing applications in mining, construction materials, and chemical industries.Note: Final model selection should be based on specific material properties (compressive strength, abrasion index, etc.) to ensure optimal matching with the equipment.
