Process Flow Description

1. Primary Feeding & Crushing

  • The F5X1045 vibrating feeder feeds raw materials evenly into the PE600×900 jaw crusher, which handles the initial coarse crushing. This stage reduces the rock size to approximately 100mm.

2. Intermediate Storage & Regulation

  • Crushed materials are temporarily stored in the buffer silo, ensuring a continuous and controlled feed for the next crushing stage. This helps in stabilizing the production line and balancing load.

3. Secondary Crushing

  • The material enters the PFW1214Ⅲ European impact crusher, designed for medium crushing of soft rock. It further breaks down the material and improves the shape of the particles.

4. Fine Crushing & Sand Shaping

  • Finely crushed material is passed through the VSI5X8522 sand making machine, where it is finely processed into manufactured sand with excellent gradation and cubical shape.

5. Screening & Grading

  • Finally, the material is classified using two S5X1860 vibrating screens. Oversized particles are returned for re-processing, while qualified sand is discharged for stacking or direct use.

FAQ: Soft Rock Sand Making Solutions

Q1: What is consideredsoft rockin crushing?
Soft rock includes materials like limestone, dolomite, marl, claystone, and shale that are easy to break down under compression or impact.

Q2: Can this plant produce construction-grade sand?
Yes. With VSI5X technology and precision screening, the final output meets construction sand standards (Zone II or III, depending on settings).

Q3: How much area is required for this plant layout?
Typically around 3000–5000㎡, depending on silo size and stockpile arrangements.

Q4: Can we customize the output size and gradation?
Absolutely. By adjusting crusher settings and screen mesh sizes, you can control sand fineness modulus and particle shape.
